Mindful Movement Class

Who doesn’t need some skills on managing stress? Learn stress reduction skills by discovering Mindfulness.

Join our weekly Mindful Movement class and learn skills of Mindfulness and ways of dealing with stress in the mind and body. Suitable for all ages and health conditions. During the class you will learn simple meditation exercises, experience gentle yoga type movements and may discover some new ways of dealing with what’s coming up in our lives.

10 weekly classes $175. Attend in person or in your home on ZOOM

Pain Management– through  Knowledge, Movement and Mindfulness

2 x 1.5 hour sessions of Pain education, mindful movement and introduction to Mindfulness.
Class limited to 6 participants, course material provided and recordings for home practice.|
Great for anyone who wants to know more about pain and how our mind and body can influence our experience of it.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

8 x 2.5 hour classes plus 1 day Mindfulness Retreat. Learn specific skills and practices that you can use in your daily life to help break cycles of anxiety, stress and unhappiness. Requires commitment to daily practice. Course handbook provided and recordings for home practise.

Pre-booking and payment is essential to secure your place in the class of your choice. Payment can be made online, or by cheque, cash or EFTPOS at Island Bay Physiotherapy.

There are no refunds for missed classes.
